Food and Drink

Gatorade and water will be provided on half-day trips.

Gatorade, water and lunch will be provided on full-day and float trips. Please let your guide know if you have any dietary restrictions or preferences.

You’re welcome to bring any additional snacks or beverages.

Keep it Mobile

We typically move from spot to spot throughout the day. You’ll want to limit your additional items to back pack size. If you’re heading out on a float trip you’re welcome to use our cooler for cold storage.

What to Know Before you Go

We provide most the fly fishing gear you’ll need for the day however, there are a few things you’ll need to prepare for the day. Use this guide trip checklist to ensure you’re prepared for the day.

Required Items

Valid fishing licenses for each person in the group. Nevada requires anyone over the age of 12 to have a license, California requires anyone over the age of 16 to have a license. Your guide will let you know which state you will be fishing in.

What to Wear

  • Hat, Sunglasses (polarized)
  • Long Sleeve Sun Protective Shirt, Light Jacket or Sweater (depending on the season)
  • Pants or Shorts that can get wet (lightweight or quick dry is best)
  • Extra Pair of Socks (full length, not ankle socks)
  • Sunscreen for the face (it’s preferred to cover the skin with light weight clothing. Please, no sunscreen on the legs or body parts that will be in the water) 

Next Steps

Your guide will send you a GPS Google Location Pin for your meeting location as late as the day before the trip. Feel free to reach out with any additional questions or concerns.
