A fun half-day fly fishing guide trip on the beautiful Truckee River, near Lake Tahoe and Reno.
My Daughters and I put this video together to celebrate the arrival of our new baby boy. His name is Levi, and he may not know this yet but he’s destined to be a fisherman. We had a great time putting the video together and can’t wait to get a rod in the little guys hands.
During the winter months is the best time to target rising fish on the Truckee river. On a nice day with little wind and warmer temps you can expect to see Blue Wing Olive flies hatching. Trout key into these freshly hatched bugs and it can be game on for the afternoon.
This little edit was put together by my older daughter. She’s got some skills on the water and behind the lens.
One of the most pristine pieces of water in the Eastern Sierra. I had the opportunity to get my Dad out here a few years back and we had a blast.
A little snapshot of my daughters fishing in the canyon section of the Truckee River.
My Dad and I went out to Montana this summer and found some great fish on the Beaverhead. Really cool river definitely worth checking out if you’re ever in the area.
