Anytime you can make it out is a good time to go fishing as many of the places we fish are open year round. However, depending on water conditions we especially enjoy fishing in the early spring and fall.
We get asked this question a lot and we feel it’s worth mentioning here.
The short answer to this question is, that it depends. We understand every dog is different some are great fishing dogs and some, well, are not. We’d like to chat with you about it before we book the trip and if it seems like a fit we’re more than happy to have your furry friend along. However, if you’re considering a Float Trip on the Truckee River the answer is no. The rafts we use are relatively small, and inflatable we do not allow dogs or studded boots on board. We can supply you with non-studded boots but the pup will have to sit this one out.
Yes! We are licensed by The California Department of Fish and Wildlife and The Nevada Department of Wildlife. We are also insured and bonded.
